Service Description
THIS SERVICE IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HAD A RELAXER OR WHO HAVE NOT HAD ONE IN THE LAST YEAR. IF YOU PREVIOUSLY HAD A RELAXER A LONG TIME AGO BUT ARE UNSURE IF THIS SUITS YOU, KINDLY CALL US FOR A LITTLE CHAT. A relaxer is a permanent straightening treatment. It is not suitable for all hair types. After your consultation, we will determine whether this service is best for your hair type and if not, we will make other recommendations to give you the results you desire. We use Avlon's Affirm relaxer system, which protects and nourishes the hair every step of the way. - To start, a Pre-Treatment is applied to the hair to nourish and protect the scalp and hair shaft during the relaxer process - A conditioner is applied to the hair before the shampoo and this allows for deeper penetration whilst the layers of the hair are wide open following the relaxer - Triple-cleanse to neutralise the relaxer and rejuvenate the hair - Tailored deep treatment and aromatic steam infused with essential oils. The steam causes the layers of the hair to swell and open up allowing for deeper penetration of your tailored treatment into the hair shaft - Relaxing head massage to encourage healthy blood flow to circulate for healthy hair and to stimulate the hair follicles. - A leave-in treatment, heat protectant and light-weight styling products are applied ready to finish and style the hair. - Hair cut is included to reshape the hair or to simply get rid of any unhealthy/damaged hair that prohibits healthy hair growth and length retention. PLEASE NOTE; 1) DO NOT WASH HAIR UP TO A WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKING 2) Leave at least 2 weeks between relaxer and permanent colour services 3) Prices are for hair up to medium length. A surcharge will be charged for; - Hair that is longer or extra thick, where more product and time is required - Optional premium conditioning treatments/repair therapies/treatment cocktails - Hair that is excessively tangled/matted (£15 per 15 minutes of unmatting) 4) For those who wish to have a tapered/pixie cut, kindly indicate this on your booking form
