Service Description

A Silk Press is best suited for those with natural hair that wish to straighten their curls temporarily. We begin with a thorough cleanse which lifts excess product and debris off the scalp and rejuvenates the hair. The final cleanse requires leaving in the special shampoo for a few minutes to allow the layers of the hair to lift and open up ready for the application and penetration of the Intense Boost treatment into the hair shaft. The Intense Boost is an in-salon treatment that adds strength, hydration and shine to the hair by drying in an intense dose of heat-activated moisture or protein deep into the hair shaft. Immediate effects; - stronger and healthier hair - breakage stops - hair is easier to manage and drying time is completely cut down - incredible shine - frizz is tamed and curls become more defined It also prolongs the effects of the Nano Keratin Smoothing System. Monthly salon visits are a given to keep your hair healthy and in good shape, so for our Nano Keratin clients, this treatment is the perfect pairing. A leave-in treatment is added to the hair and silk-infused products are applied ready for the temporal straightening process using a combination of blowdryer and flat iron techniques. Effects of the Intense Boost treatment last for up to 30 days+. Up to Medium hair - £185 Long hair - £205 Mega hair - £220 PLEASE NOTE: - We cannot perform this treatment on anyone that we deem as unsuitable for this service. In such cases, we will amend the treatment to suit their hair type and advise on a course of action moving forward to improve the condition of their hair. - Hair that is excessively tangled and/or matted may require a Detangling Service which will be charged at an additional £15 per 15 minutes.
