A Silk Press is best suited for those with natural hair that wish to straighten their curls temporarily but also works well for those with relaxed hair. - Scalp and hair assessment - Pre-Treatment containing ingredients such as aloe vera leaf juice and coconut water to detangle, nourish, soften and prep the hair prior to applying any shampoo - Moroccan clay detox mask to lift excess product and debris off the scalp and hair - Triple-cleanse and conditioner to clean and rejuvenate the hair - Tailored deep treatment and aromatic steam infused with essential oils. The steam causes the layers of the hair to swell and open up allowing for deeper penetration of the treatment into the hair shaft - Relaxing head massage to encourage blood flow to stimulate the hair follicles. - A leave-in treatment and silk-infused products are applied ready for the temporal straightening process using a combination of blowdryer and flat iron techniques. Notably, this is the only Silk Press option for ALL NEW CLIENTS and those who have not visited our salon in the last 10 weeks - Hair that is past medium length or is extra thick will incur a surcharge of £20-£45 depending on length/volume. Additional treatments can also be added on if required - We cannot perform this treatment on anyone that we deem as unsuitable for this service. In such cases, we will amend the treatment to suit their hair type and advise on a course of action moving forward to improve the condition of their hair. - Hair that is excessively tangled and/or matted may require a Detangling Service which will be charged at an additional £15 per 15 minutes
